Wedding Trends 2010 Part Two

After more research I came up with a few more trends.

3. Winter/Christmas Themed Wedding

Something about this makes me want to snuggle up next to the fireplace with the man I love...
If winter is your favorite season or Christmas you favorite holiday, then this is the theme for you. Not only can you get great off season deals but you can do it in style!

4. Island theme Wedding

One of the most fun things about the island theme wedding are the decorations. Think bright, beautiful, tropical colors like bright pink, orange, turquoise or sunny yellow accented with green. Flowers should include exotic tropical choices like hibiscus, bamboo orchid, plumeria, bamboo orchid and red ginger, for example. The more flowers, the better!

5. Organic Elegance

I love the smell of fresh herbs in the summer and having them be incorporated into a garden wedding is just perfect. There are so many ways to incorporate herbs into a wedding (or even a bridal shower), including:
• the actual bouquets and boutonnieres
• actual decor
(wreaths, hanging pots, centerpieces)
• favors
(potted herbs doing double duty has take home gifts and place cards)
•
food (herb butter, herb roasted potatoes, thyme marinated grilled chicken, Summer herb crusted salmon)

Plus, herbs are a great solution for "green weddings". Not only are they green in color, but they are eco-friendly when planted in pots and given to guests to take home and use.

Wedding Trends 2010 Part One

Ok, so I have been thinking about new wedding trends and styles and came across a few that I thought were really fun....

1. Celtic/Medieval

I know, I know! Sounds kinda like a Renaissance Fair and although I agree that this kind of wedding is not for everyone, there is still something inside of me screaming "Oh my gosh! I love it!!"
I admit that I love fantasy movies like LOTR and/or similar. The romantic aspect of it is enough for me to say "I do" to this new 2010 wedding trend.

AS some of you know, I am now offering Custom Made wedding dresses that look like the top name designer dresses. I will soon be adding a section of celtic dresses so please keep checking back for them! CLICK HERE

2. Vintage/Hollywood Glam

There is just something wonderful about the early 1900's. Everything just seemed so much better... the looks were elegant & timeless yet chic. Short net veils, gloves and pearls... hey if its good enough for Grace Kelley, its good enough for me! Think Sweet Home Alabama or Katherine Heigl's Wedding Day
